L. Anton Jonker, D.D.S.

Board certified oral & maxillofacial surgeon Dr. Anton Jonker is a native Californian. He grew up in Northern San Diego County. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Colorado College and his D.D.S. degree from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. He received his Certificate of Residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery after serving his residency at Valley Medical Center in Fresno. In 1980 he was granted Diplomate status with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a member of the Fresno Madera Dental Society, California Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Western Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.

He is the Director of the Central Valley Dental Forum, a branch of the Seattle Study Club. He maintains hospital privileges with St Agnes Medical Center and HealthSouth Surgicenter.

Dr. Jonker is married and has two daughters and one stepdaughter. He has been very active in civic affairs having been on the Board of Directors and past president of the East Fresno Rotary Club and on the Board of Directors of the Fresno Chapter of LIGA (International Flying Physicians). His hobbies are golf and travel. He has been in private practice in Fresno since 1977.
